Ravens Beat the Vikings!!!!

Tim and I went to our first Ravens game at M&TBank Stadium on Christmas day, and we had a BLAST!! It was so much fun! I cheered my little heart out for my team and my favorite players. And joined the "chaing gang" for every Ravens first down! We went with Tim's parents and Julia and Vince. Our seats were great and we even got to hang out in the pregame tent to fill up on Outback food. I never thought that I would ever spend a Christmas bundled up in a tent outside the stadium eating steak and wings from Outback. It will be a Christmas that I will never forget!! I even got to meet one of the birds (I think it was Poe)!

Merry Christmas!!

The Myers family celebrated Christmas eve in the usual tradition this year. We had dinner at the Manor Tavern in Monkton, Md, then went to midnight mass at St. Joseph's. Christmas morning was spent at the Myers' house and then it was off to see the Ravens play!! Here are some pics from Christmas morning!

Home Opener

Our first game in Blacksburgh this season was against the Bobcats from Ohio. Today we saw for the first time the newly renovated West side of Lane Stadium. The other hightlight of the day, besides winning 45-0 (again), was the Stealth flyover. H-O-K-I-E-S HOKIES!!

Kicking Off the Season

The Hokies were technically in Durham this Saturday to take on Dook, though from the looks of the stadium it sure felt like Blacksburg (just a lot smaller!). Tim's parents came down from Baltimore Friday night to join us at the game. We also met up with Seth, Kelly, and Jason Marshall a VT alum and Chapel Hill native. GO HOKIES!! Final Score VT 45-Dook 0

Celebrate!

Our good friend Tony, longstanding member of the men's softball and flag football teams, gave his defense (something about telomeres) today! It also happened to be his birthday too. So, we were all invited to celebrate!! CONGRATULATIONS TONY!!

Summer Vacation in Chincoteague, Virginia

Here fishy, fishy, fishy.....

We spent an extra long weekend with Heather's family on the island. Days on the beach, canoeing, and fishing (Much to her dismay, Heather didn't catch a single fish the whole time).

Summer Softball Comes To A Close

The Men's and Co-Rec teams both suffered tough losses in the semi-finals to end the season on Wednesday. Time to start getting the flag football team in shape!

Take me out to the ball game!!

Heather and Tim (Raven's Stadium in the background)

We made it to Camden Yards this summer! With my sister Jessie, and my best little buddy Lisa, we took in a game at the yard (The O's won!) and then took in a drink downtown.
