Rachel's first stroller ride
Rachel had her first walk in the neighborhood today. Unfortunately, we didn't make it too far because of the rain. Rachel slept through the whole adventure!

Rachel had a visit from her friends, the Parsons! She especially enjoyed getting to know her new pal, Sydney. She got all dressed up in her "Sweetie" watermelon outfit that her Great Aunt Charlotte and Great Uncle Harry sent to her.

Rachel Lane Myers was born on August 15th at 3:00pm. She weighed 9 pounds and 11 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Nebraska!!
This weekend we followed the Hokies to Nebraska! We began our trip in Omaha with a drive along the Riverwalk, the spot of the Lewis and Clark landing on the Missouri river. Next, we drove down to see Rosenblatt Standium which is the home of the College World Series. Finally, we made the drive down to Lincoln where we toured the campus, town, and stadium. Of course, we had Omaha Steaks for lunch and then went to see Nebraska's Hall of Champions which included the "Heisman Room". Then, at last, it was gametime! Our Hokies beat the Huskers 35-30.
