Daddy's Softball Game

Ganyard Hill Farm

Lisa and Karl came to visit from Baltimore last weekend. We went to Ganyard Hill Farm and had a great time!

Rachel sitting on a giant bale of hay.

She loved the orange balls. Anything round is a "Ba!"

This reminds me of Little House on the Prairie opening credits.

We went on a hayride after our trip through the corn maze.

Picking cotton.

Rachel loves crawling through tunnels. This one was under the giant haystack.

Little baby, big tire. That's Farmer Ganyard on the tractor.

"Hi Cows!"
Looking at the cows with Daddy.

I think her favorite part was the corn crib. I think it reminded her of the sand at the beach...except messier!

Here's Rachel in the toddler maze. She did the whole thing.

Visiting with the pigs and goats.

My cool bug

Mommy caught me a very cool bug. It was a very friendly grasshopper and when I squished the cup he jumped around and around. We gave him a leaf and some water. We let him go the next day. I tried to catch him again on the deck, but he was too fast (the second time).
Giving the bug a "kiss".

Very curious. Maybe we should do science class more often :)

Second Trip to Lane: ECU

Time to go to work!

Hurry up guys, we're going to be late!

"Hi Ducks!!"
Rachel loved feeding the ducks at the Duck Pond.

Rachel Lane's first trip to Lane Stadium

Rachel's first game was a wet one! She had a good time, until she got cold. We made it to halftime.
Rachel and Tim on the way to the game.

On the way to the stadium.

The back of her shirt had Hokie Bird tail feathers. Too cute...

Last summer post... Rachel's First Ice Cream

What better place to try your very first bite of ice cream that the Island Creamery in Chincoteague? We took Rachel and let her have some of Mommy's Marsh Mud Brownie Sundae. Daddy didn't want to share his.

First bite of ice cream.

I think she likes it!!!

Uh oh! Brain Freeze!

Mommy wouldn't let me have the whole thing...maybe I'll get my own cup next year.

Pack N Paper

They always say the kids have more fun with the wrapping paper than they do with the present!
